It's always sorta cool to walk to the end of this pier and see the 8-10 foot sharks that are being pulled out of the water and then as you walk back to the beach, have a look at the surfers and swimmers next to the pier! There are some really good fisher-people on this pier at times, it can be surprising what they come up with!

Going out to Padre Island is one of the spectacular areas of the Corpus Christi area. Bob Hall Pier is a developed area that offers picnic tables, a cute restaurant with a view of the water, restrooms, showers, fishing pier, items to help you enjoy the beach!

If you are visiting Corpus Christi, then you simply need to make a trip to Bob Hall Pier. My daughter and I went during the off season so we had very few people to shuffle around. Just walking the length of the pier is worth the trip. It takes you pretty far off the shore line and you'll be surrounded by several fisherman. For a small fee you can walk the pier ($3 per person) and you can also pay a small fee to fish off the pier. As we were walking up a fisherman was leaving dragging behind him a HUGE fish! Parking is free next to the Pier in their parking lot too - most other places require a parking pass.

First time out on the pier. A lot of people were fishing and catching a few. All were very friendly. Easy to talk with.Only thing better would have been able to walk out with a beer in hand. But I understand the rules.Good time and a fun thing to do. I would say for everyone to give it a try.
