We are regulars at the pier. Nice clean, fishing pier with lights at night. Caught many fish today; a 30” shark, gaft top, piggy perch, whiting and best of all a 38” black drum which took 20 minutes to land. They have a great bar/ restaurant named Mikel May, good food. Highly recommend you visit the pier even if you’re not a fisherman, just take a stroll to the end of the pier. Nice memorial service a couple of days ago for a 38 year old female. Dozens of surfers light torches in her memory and her family remembered her with yellow daisies. Condolences to the family what a beautiful service.

A traditional wooden pier for residents and visitors to enjoy. For a few dollars you can walk to the end of the pier and enjoy views looking out to sea or back to the beach. There are quite a few fishermen on the pier which also has amenities such as a restaurant, picnic tables, changing area, showers and restrooms.

It's always sorta cool to walk to the end of this pier and see the 8-10 foot sharks that are being pulled out of the water and then as you walk back to the beach, have a look at the surfers and swimmers next to the pier! There are some really good fisher-people on this pier at times, it can be surprising what they come up with!
