We(myself, husband, and two kids) made a last minute trip to the Estes Park Resort when we decided we wanted to spend a couple of days exploring Rocky Mountain National Forest. It was just super. Max at the desk was welcoming and helpful. The property is lovely. The rooms are comfortable. We grabbed dinner at the restaurant one evening, and Erika, our server, was warm, professional, and an all around delight. Hotel restaurants can be dicey, but our meal was great. I was pleasantly surprised that the exercise room had yoga mats, as well. All in all, we had a comfortable stay, and would recommend!

Polite and friendly staff, well maintained property and rooms, free and adequate parking. It's located just far enough from downtown to feel solitude, but close enough to take advantage of all it has to offer.

Loved the opportunity to enjoy the "ultimate check in package" at the spa. Great way to start a relaxing getaway!

Wonderful. Perfect bed and rooms were quiet. Perfect nights sleep. Dinner at Dunraven was fantastic with great servers! The views from our room amd also the dining room were spectacular of the mountains. Can’t wait to go back in the spring and summer and be able to walk around the lake.

Rooms are clean but dated. No pool or jacuzzi. No cafe that makes espresso drinks in the morning but they do have keurig (not good enough for me). The Italian restaurant has a Scottish name?!? I should have known from that it was bad. Ragu like sauce. Pasta not tossed in sauce, instead just piled on top. The eggplant parm was 1 thin slice of breaded eggplant covered in cheese that was over cooked and hardened on top. The calamari was over cooked to the point it was tough. They have wonder bread instead of Italian bread. The menu is great but I had high expectations that were not met. The bar makes one helluva martini tho. Nice views of the lake from the patio and restaurant windows. I would come back to the hotel but would not eat at Dunraven again.

This was our second time (in 3 years) to stay at The Estes Park Resort and both times have been a great experience. The lakeview rooms are beautiful, especially in the morning when the sun hits the snow covered mountains. We saw a heard of elk from our balcony and a pair of bald eagles on the partially frozen lake. Stormy at the front desk was very nice and extremely helpful, giving our group of 12 many suggestions of places to eat and things to do in the area. Bedding and pillows were very comfortable, the rooms were clean and the hotel provided everything we we needed. We will definitely chose this hotel again when we return to Estes Park.
