Description: Open 7 days a week at 4pm Sunday Mornings we are serving Brunch from 10am to 2pm Built in 1937as a dance hall for the Big Band Era, The Rock continues to be a lively gathering place with local flair. In the winter, our two wood-burning stoves keep the room toasty for folks stopping in for a beer or a bite after playing in Rocky Mountain National Park. During the summer season we enjoy stunning continental divide views from our outdoor dining patio. Our menu is an ever evolving blend of hand-crafted, hearty comfort food with a health and planet conscious twist. We aim to fill you up with goodness so you can get back to enjoying the mountains again tomorrow. We feature Certified Angus Beef, All-Natural Colorado chicken, fresh salads, whole grains, organic teas and coffees, local beers, sustainably produced wines, and a full bar. On Many Fridays after dinner, we set-up one of many original Colorado bands on our 76 year old stage, clear the dance floor and boogie all night. Some of the bands playing these days include Chain Station, James and the Devil, Old Town Pickers, The Sweet Lillies, Stringboard Theory, Cadillac Grip Funk, KC Groves, and many more. During the summer time, acoustic music acts play most other nights of the week, sunday nights are a mellower feeling as we host acoustic Colorado songwriters during dinner. You might catch Jon Pickett, Alex Thoele, Sarah Caton, Jay Roemer, Billy Shaddox, Jay Stott, or Terry Kishiyama and Ash Ganley. We also offer a great open bluegrass pick on Thursday nights lead by a few talented local musicians, either joining in on the pick or just sitting back and enjoying the bluegrass, tuesdays are a funny night of music. We look forward to having you join us. Reservations are not accepted, however if you want to give us a call, when you are on your way we will be happy to get a table ready for you or put you on the list. During the off-season there is rarely a wait. In July, August, and September it is best to get here before 6.

We have driven past the Rock Inn for years and finally stopped Sunday for an early dinner. What a great blessing as we had the best time of our staycation and the best food at 1/3 the price of downtown Estes tourist traps with mediocre food. First they have live music that is like awesome background music not a band where you can't hear the people you are with talk. Sam was our server and had great recommendations and even brought us drinks outside when the patio was closed. Great guy!! The trout dinner is amazing and so is the French dip. You can't beat the happy hour for wine and beer. I wish they had domestics on tap. That was my only complaint. It's nice to dine outside the madness of Estes.

We went here around 6:30 on a Saturday and were told our wait would be 45 minutes but a bar table opened up so we were able to be seated right away. The wait tells you it's just that good though! I'm not sure if they have call ahead reservation options.

I had just a plain chicken sandwich but it was delicious. Fresh fries and Colorado chicken on a locally handmade roll. My friend had the veggie burger and said it was also very good.

We didn't order drinks but the menu is extensive and includes pots of tea.

A nice upbeat vibe with great music. I'd definitely recommend.

We loved the cabin look on the outside but the inside is where it's happening. We lucked out and went on a night when they had open mike for jamming some great bluegrass music. The patrons eating were a little loud over the music because the food was that good. After folks had filled their stomachs with bison burgers, trout, and anything else you would want to find on a Colorado menu, the sounds of the music and a couple of tasty drinks made this place a great place to return to 3 times before we had to go home.

We loved Rock Inn. All our food was delicious. The vibe of the restaurant is laid back and friendly. The night we were there they had a blue grass "drop in" so lots of local musicians came by to play music. It was a great way to spend our evening. We enjoyed this place a lot.

My husband ordered the trout and loved it, but he and I loved the meatloaf more! Almost as good as my meatloaf- juicy, flavorful, and swimming in gravy!
