This is a cute, modest little place. They took the time to make sure that each room is decorated adorably. You can see the mountains from the window! The staff were very nice and even upgraded us to a king room and let us check in early. There was a real attention to detail with the spa shampoo, conditioner and soaps and the impeccable cleanliness of the room. I almost knocked a star off because the light bulb in one of the lamps was burned out and there's no way (that we could find) to get any help after 9pm since they go home, but really for the price, the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff and the location it's an amazing find. It's perfect for someone on a budget who wants a clean room with quick access to The Rocky Mountain National Park, the tram up the mountain and all of the shops.

I found the Estes Mountain Lodge to be clean, quiet and quite comfortable. The folks at the front office were very friendly and informative. It was affordable. It was close enough to downtown dining areas to walk although many might prefer to drive.

I had room 45 which has been renovated. Also i believe it is the only room with the deck on the backside. View from Deck not worth seeing just nice having the extra space. Nice renovation room was very clean. Nice sized Pool, Hot Tub only partially worked and it is needed after a long day of hiking. Staff very friendly and helpful when needed. Beds are too small as well Full size is really too small. A little pricey still for what you are getting. But did i mention it was CLEAN?! That really is the most important aspect of staying somewhere.

I had the one-bed room and was satisfied with it. The room was small but clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s just a few minutes from downtown Estes Park, so the location is perfect.
The only downside was the WiFi was spotty.

The good: office staff were nice and helpful.

The bad: the room.

I feel mislead by the website photos, but with only a 2 night stay, didn't bother with complaining to management.

The room was so small, my wife and I kept bumping into each other just trying to navigate around it. The website shows a room with a table and 2 chairs next to the bed, but we didn't have that, nor would there have been room. I tried to open the closet, but the nightstand blocked it from opening, that's how cramped it was. So we had to scoot the bed against the wall, then move the nightstand over in order to use the closet. In addition, the window AC unit is RIGHT by the head of the bed and is super loud. So we had to choose comfort of AC over hearing the television. That was really frustrating after long days of hiking when we just wanted to relax.

The bathroom door takes some force to close all the way, then when you open it, it cracks super loud (I think it's chipped on top, so they could likely just break off the chip to fix it).

And finally, we arrived from a couple hours away and had food for the fridge. The next day when we went in for a snack, everything was warm because the fridge had been set to the warmest setting on the dial. Sure, we should have noticed and changed the dial. But come on, you're trying to save on electricity so badly that you turn the dial up on the fridge as guests leave?

Would we stay here again? Yes, if it was still the cheapest place available and I was able to get a room pie is pictures on the website....but it would not be a place I seek out to stay again.

We sincerely apologize if you felt mislead by our website photos. That day that room was already occupied.. but the room that you were in was the same type as that one just a different location. Thank you for letting us know about your concerns in the room, I already informed my maintenance team about this issue and they already fix it immediately.
We wish you a great day ahead!
