On September 3, 2022 my wife and I traveled 15 hours to stay in Estes Park at Coyote Mountain Lodge to do some hiking in the area. I had made reservations at the hotel in July and had an email confirmation from their hotel (#CMLCO319****). Upon arrival late in the evening on Labor Day Weekend, we were told they could not find us in their system. The city was at full capacity and their were not other rooms to be found, forcing us to incur an hour drive to Boulder, hundreds of dollars in extra trip costs and the stress of replanning our trip and hikes. The clerk stated they had changed their computer system and lost our reservation, despite me showing it to him on their own business e-mail letterhead with a confirmation number. The manager later called me and called the episode an "inconvenience". They dod not offer to assist in finding an alternative location for us late on a holiday weekend. I'm not a young man anymore and was quite tired after the long trip. The service to assist me and my wife was terrible, no help, no compensation to cover our additional expenses and stress. I would not recommend Coyote Mountain Lodge.
