Gilded Pine Meadows is a little gem tucked away in the community of Estes Park, Colorado. Although we arrived in the wee hours of the morning due to flight delays, Eric asssured us by phone that our late arrival would be no problem. He met us in the driveway at nearly 3:45 a.m. and welcomed us into his home. Breakfasts were delicious and served with interesting conversation. Caprissa has maintained the period charm of the home with purchased antiques and pieces inherited from the home's original owners. Eric is a charming host, happy to share information about the community, as well as the house and its history. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This small B and B is an historic home about a mile from town center. We appreciated that we could hike, run, and bike right from the B and B. Eric and Caprissa were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us helpful recommendations and even a ride to a trailhead. Breakfast was very good. We got chocolate chip cookies when we arrived! They were proud of their home and enjoyed sharing its history with us. We stayed in 2 different rooms over 5 nights. The suite was very pretty and more spacious. We would return!

After a disappointing day of driving through Rocky Mountain National Park in the rain, we arrived at Gilded Pine Meadows. The outside was nothing special but once we stepped inside we were amazed. Eric was the perfect host. When he found out about our disappointing day he suggested a different route back into the park now that it was sunny that would help us avoid some of the construction problems we had encountered. His route was spectacular. We saw everything we wanted to see and were able to get some amazing photographs. Eric also suggested a delicious place for dinner. When we arrived back at the b&b there were fresh baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us. The room was comfortable and filled with antiques but with modern plumbing. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and more than enough to get us started on our way home.

My wife and I stayed here this week. She wrote the review above and wanted to say she meant to give it 5 stars not 4. Beautiful place, great scenery. Wonderful hosts. We look forward to coming back for another visit.. One of the best vacations we had. Eric won't steer you wrong when he tells you great places to go and eat. We really enjoyed his company and Caprissas when she was able to join us.

We really enjoyed the B & B. They are part of the scenery as the area is gorgeous where they are and easily accessable to Estes Park. Eric knows all the great places to go and see and that really helped make our vacation memorable. They are wonderful and charming hosts and the trip would not be as great if it weren't for them. The breakfasts were outstanding!!!!
It is a quaint house with lots of history. Eric will be most happy to answer any questions you have.
As far as rooms, they have 2 bedrooms. One is quite quaint. Check with Eric on what bedroom is best for you. We stayed in the small room as it was cheaper and we weren't expecting to spend much time in it.
