Staff very friendly & accommodating. Readily provided dining selections and accurate directions to local points of interest. Experienced damaged luggage and staff assisted in providing necessary items for repair.

We stayed one night while visiting RMNP. The hotel is a series of buildings & we had a lower level room that was pretty cramped. Friendly staff on check in; decent breakfast. But $$$ for what was at best an average room.

This is an older but well kept establishment. Beds comfortable, staff attentive and knowledgeable. The office has a wonderful fireplace and warm cookies at night. Excellent hot breakfast each morning, kept resupplied all morning. Easy access to town by car. My review is mostly based on room location. There is a main original building that has access to everything by walking. However, if you are in one of the out buildings, the layout is difficult to maneuver. In order to access the office or breakfast, one has to drive back out onto a busy 4 lane highway and the turn immediately back into the office parking. At night, the area is dark and the one way hotel road can be confusing. The floors squeak badly so request an upper floor.

Thanks so much for saying a few words about your stay. The back buildings are very popular with guests who want to feel removed from it all. You actually don't have to drive on the busy four lane road to access breakfast. If you can't walk up from your room below and enter through the back doors, you can just park anywhere around the main building and walk in any of the back doors of the property. From there you can access breakfast.

The back buildings are newly remodeled but still older and if you are sensitive you may want to make sure you book a balcony room. We are going to be reinforcing those floors.

I hope you had a nice time exploring the area. Please come stay with us again if you are out this way.

Regards,

Daniel L

Property was clean, comfortable and staff friendly. The room was a bit dated in terms of furniture and soft furnishings, but didn't detract from the enjoyment of the stay. We were in an annexe building on the Lower floor, and there was quite a bit of noise from above (creaky floors etc). Breakfast was ok, some hot choices, plus cereal etc - limited and a bit repetitive after 5 days but no real complaints, quality was good. Free coffee and excellent cookies (evening) in the lobby was a nice touch. The walk into town is easy enough either via the river walk or down the main road -about a mile, and until early September there's a free shuttle to bring you back from town. All in all a good, comfortable stay - oh and we saw Elk outside the room one morning, and heard coyotes one night creating havoc!!

Room tip: High rooms at the back have good views

When we booked this Inn for the labor day weekend , I thought price tag was high for a quality inn brand hotel but this hotel had great ratings, looked nice and was available hence booked it. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of this property, rooms were large and clean, bathrooms well stocked and breakfast was good and constantly refilled.
Had no issues so no complains with the service. Only thing little bothersome was the obscure entrance, if getting here late at night you have really pay attention to it. entrance
