Recently came and saw a movie here, Civil War, with my wife. The theater is great! Nothing fancy, just your simple "dollar" theater if your familiar with the concept of older theaters that dropped their prices to a dollar and showed movies after most multiplex movie theaters had long finished their runs. Obviously not a dollar a ticket anymore, probably more like $5. Still a great deal!

I prefer Cinema Salem to the larger theaters in Danvers and Revere. Cheap, validated parking is available in the attached garage-25 cents per hour-and the selection of movies is pretty good. There are rarely lines at the concession stand, and the popcorn is very good.

This is a review for the seance not the magic show but ...what a joke! I only gave 2 stars because there's was a few moments where you think this might be cool and live up to the advertisement but it does not. It's not scary and besides not being scary it wasn't like a real seance either. Also, we had ordered tickets online do avoid the rush since we went on Halloween weekend. They have a limited amount to be sold, yet when we got there another group had just purchased the showing for the later time but put in a note to come for the earlier time. Normally I would be fine with this but as a result of how we had to line up we didn't even get to sit at the table.. we had to watch from the outside...so lame. I felt bad a brought my friends to it. Total waste of money.

This is a one man show and is very poorly done. Very few laughs and even less magic. It's dry and Boring! May as well just flush your money down one of the out houses right next to the venue. Abolutely the worst show ever!

Definitely worth the 20 bucks. It was not at all what I expected. It was a one man variety show, 75 minutes long. It was set in the format of a story which included history from the Salem witch trials. There was magic, mind reading, hypnosis and comedy. There was a lot of audience participation which made it fun. It is located in a small church which apparently is a new location from last year. Do not recommend for small children. It was very well done, would highly recommend. Will be attending again next year since it is a new show every year!
