This museum is an amazing hidden little gem. I loved the fact that it was very informative and there were lots of things to interact with. A great museum for people of all ages. I didn’t realize that Texas was such a melting pot of different cultures. A must see museum when visiting San Antonio.

Museum aimed more at kids but still interesting for adults if you have the time go but do not put on top of your list.

Museum content is suitable for all ages, with advance concepts such as immigration, integration, diversity and Civil Rights detailed along with stories of people, their accomplishments, their living conditions, and other details. There are also hands-on opportunities for children and families, such as trunks with clothing and everyday accoutrements that may have been used in a culture's early days in Texas. The reviewer says the museum has a "60s feel," and to a degree, that may be accurate. The institute is working on a new exhibit floor master plan to update content and the way information is presented to visitors.

Most people would not even know about this great collection of the varied cultures that make up the Texas people. All immigrant and Native American groups are represented. There is plenty of history to be learned here. Expect to spend three hours here. Take your time and read some of the narratives associated with the people who make up Texas. I promise you that you will be amazed and will definitely learn a lot about Texans.

This museum offers a panoramic view of the may groups that settled Texas. The slide show projected on the domed ceiling was particularly interesting and well done. The various exhibits are dense with information, kids could get restless while adults dive into the details.

This is so under rated and I can't understand why. So very interesting. Were can you see and learn about 26 different cultures under one roof. Look for your own nationality and be surprised by what you see and learn. So many are represented here. Can not say enough good things about this place.
