Clean and spacious room, well appointed and great air conditioning you'll like (and need if it's summer!) Stayed on corner of hotel and some light traffic noise but the fan from the AC was sufficient to drown out most of the noise. Buffet was sufficient but not spectacular and sometimes very busy. Parking is NOT included and cost $24 + tax, a pricey surprise. Very nice staff, overall a good hotel.

Room Tip: Avoid corner rooms near busy intersection of 3 streets next to hotel. Stay in upper floors if able

The hotel is clean and smells good. The room was spacious. The breakfast was yummy but busy at times. The staff kept it well stocked. The staf were friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. The pool seemed packed with kids. It was quiet and I slept great.

After driving 2 days from Michigan to San Antonio, we arrived to our hotel around 6pm and were told that our room wasn't ready yet. This was frustrating but the manager stated that it would be cleaned in 20 mins, which it was. The room was spacious but had a particular odor to it upon arrival which lasted our entire stay. The pool was small and shared with the neighboring Fairfield Inn. It was clean and towels were plentiful. The breakfast dining area was large but the area where you get your food was very small and cramped. It wasn't well thought out logistically. The food variety did not change the entire week, so if you are okay with the same breakfast every morning, you will be happy. The housekeeping/maid staff were kind and efficient. The front desk staff were okay but certainly did not make you feel overly welcomed or were not overly accommodating. Location was good. We were able to walk to everything. San Antonio is beautiful and the Riverwalk and Alamo were very close to the hotel. Overall our stay was okay, but I would probably find a different hotel in the future if I'm in San Antonio again.

I stayed five nights at this location. It is within walking distance to the convention center, Alamo, and river walk. The front desk crew was graceful under pressure and handled a huge crowd professionally. My room was enormous with two comfortable beds, a desk for working, a walk-in closet, a couch, and a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, and sink. They even stocked the microwave with plates and cutlery packets for my leftovers, which I greatly appreciated. A family of 4 could stay in this room and still have space to stretch out. A group of 6 on a budget could stay here as well. The shower had great pressure and the towels were soft and large. My only complaints include some hairs in the shower, an occasionally unresponsive TV, and housekeeping not coming until after 4 one day (I chose to decline when she came because I needed to freshen up for an evening meeting). The complimentary breakfast was excellent and included waffles, hot eggs, several fresh fruit options, breakfast meat, pastries, oatmeal, and yogurt. Despite the hotel being full, the breakfast was always well stocked. I definitely recommend this location.

This hotel is in the northeast corner of the River Walk/Alamo area. When we arrived, we decided to just start walking and was pleasantly surprised how close it was to everything! We walked to the Tour Boats, to the Alamo, to the Tower of the Americas, the historic Menger Hotel. We found a few other "gems" close by. The breakfast was great. We were surprised by the Texas-shaped waffles! I guess Texans love their state. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative is you have to pay for valet parking, but that is true of ANY hotel in this area of town.
