Went for a long weekend with friends, so lovely. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with very large comfortable bathrooms. I think there were 2 rooms to a villa with private entrances. We went hiking for about 1.5hrs around the property and surrounding area, beautiful desert views! Also, there were scheduled activities, a New Mexican cooking class, a cocktail class where perfect margaritas were concocted and an art viewing wine tasting event. All were very well done with funny, interesting staff members who really seem to love their work. Didn't manage to squeeze in a spa treatment but I'm sure it's top notch too.

I booked this on a promotion (get the fourth night free) and it ended up being a lot more than I was led to believe when I booked it. The staff here is great and the rooms are beautiful with heated floors, a large tub, separate shower and extremely comfortable beds. There is a gym, pool and hot tub. The iron didn't work but that is minor. There was a Keurig in the room which I hate. I wish they had a tea kettle like everywhere we stay. The breakfast in the restaurant was good. The pedicure I got in the spa was good but not worth the price. We waited 45 minutes for two burgers in the restaurant and they were crazy expensive. Overall it was a pricey stay that didn't live up to the price compared to 10,000 waves or the Ravens Ridge BNB we stayed in, but to be fair it did offer some special amenities like the gym which my son really appreciated. I will likely stay somewhere else next time I am in Santa Fe but if you have the budget it is a beautiful place. Be warned if you are older or not in great shape - you will have a hike pretty much to everything on the property or call for a cart.

Room tip: Request one close to the parking if you don't want the hike. We were in 27 which was a hike.

Dear Michelle B,

Thank you for taking the time to post a detailed review.

I am delighted that you enjoyed the resort and the fantastic team we have here but I would be remiss if I did not apologize that you found the prices to be on the high side. We truly pride ourselves on creating exceptional experiences that create value but it is clear we missed the mark with you and your family. I am also sorry that you waited so long for your Green Chile Cheeseburgers and rest assured your feedback has been shared with the culinary team.

Should you change you mind about your next visit to Santa Fe, please do let me know as it would be my pleasure to oversee your experience and ensure all aspects of your next time with us are flawless.

Sincerely,

My husband and I had a great stay at the Four Seasons. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they even put out sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries when we arrived! The simple things go a long way... Very nice staff here. Everyone was so kind and helpful. It is a little secluded, which we personally love, but others might not. The Terra burger was my husband's favorite! The room service was always prompt and yummy! Thanks Four Seaons for another amazing stay!!!

I cannot rave enough about this hotel. It is located 15 minutes outside of town in the middle of the desert. The views are incredible as is the service. We had massages in the spa which were wonderful, an amazing dinner at their restaurant (Terra), hiked the property and gazed at the star filled sky from our private balcony. As other reviewers suggested, we booked a second floor room and did not have any problems with noise. We rented a car so we went to dinner in town every night (except the night on property) and it was an easy 15 minute direct drive. The resort is located about 30 minutes from Bandelier Monument- not to be missed. We also went to Taos for the day- the drive on the High Road was breath-taking. An outstanding week in Santa Fe!

Room tip: Second floor quieter- ask for a room off the main road
