My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is excellent and close to the plaza and galleries. The king bed was wonderful and very comfortable. We had a basic room, not large, but adequate for the two of us on the second floor. Bathroom basic and small. The hotel needs to enter the 21st century and provide a bedside lamp with charging ports. We could not access the outlet behind the bed and other outlets for TV were doubled up already. More charging ports needed. Do not be even one minute late for happy hour, you will not get served. Appetizers fine on Saturday night, by Sunday, the cheese and olives looked dried out and sad. Breakfast buffet good but overrated. Fruit only melon, no berries. Bananas dark and mushy. Basic breakfast, carbs are varied pastries none hot. Hot oatmeal once. Liked veggies and tofu w eggs. Only OJ. Fire alarm in hall went off two nights in a row. No one seemed concerned. The hotel did surprise us with a split of local champagne and glasses for my birthday, made up for not serving us happy hour when we were detained on Friday night. I would stay here again due to location, can't beat it.

Room Tip: Room on second floor, heard every footstep of people above us.

Thank you for your review and happy to hear you would return dispute a few inconveniences during your stay. Our guest social hour is from 4-5pm, we often offer a glass to those newly arrived up to 10 minutes after, I am so sorry if that was not your experience.

The fire alarm going off was due to a short caused by some very welcome and long a waited rainfall, I do apologize if staff seemed unconcerned. We determined the problem and fixed post haste, but yes it is rather unpleasant to hear an intermittent alarm for any amount of time. Thank you for your patience.

We look forward to your next stay and meeting all your expectations.

Pros:
- location- close walk to plaza
- daily happy hour included. Had a few drinks and cheese plate from 4-5pm included in room menus. Serves red and white wine and sangria
- pretty: this place is really pretty. Had too 131. Cute little court yard and the happy hour courtyard and lobby cute!
- Friendly and helpful staff. Especially Kaylei
- breakfast is plentiful and all you need!

Cons: honestly, the only thing I can fault is the bed. Bed is firm with thin feather type pillows. Wasn't to my liking. Such a shame cause rest is fantastic, but, I'd rather an comfy bed for good night sleep. I didn't feel well rested next day

Thank you for your review, I am so sorry the bed was not to your preference. Should you choose to stay with us on a future visit to Santa Fe, please let us know of your preference, we can add a foam mattress cover for a softer rest and synthetic pillows are available by request.

We look forward to welcoming you back.

We booked an accessible room at the last minute based on trip advisor reviews and were very happy with the room, staff, facilities and location.

The decor and architecture is classic Santa Fe, but with a lush hacienda feel.

Our room was quiet with its own little terrace and accessibility was perfect.

There's a wonderful outdoor garden space for drinks or dinner. We stopped by for happy hour and it was so nice we stayed for dinner.

The included breakfast is a nice hot buffet with great coffee - very important.

Location is great, close to everything, but very quiet. It's right next to the Canyon road galleries and a five minute walk to the plaza.

If we're ever in Santa Fe, we'd stay there again.

The location was perfect for us with easy walks to downtown and Canyon Road. The quiet seclusion of our suite with private porches provided great star gazing. A good breakfast buffet and evening wine tasting were wonderful extras. We will return!

Three too short days in Santa Fe for a St. John's College graduation were enhanced by this jewel of a hotel. Our room (136) was really a private casita, decorated with New Mexico charm: a fireplace, separate living room, huge bathroom, a comfortable bed, and perhaps best of all, a private patio with four chairs and visits from many birds lured by the bubbling bird bath, feeders, beautiful trees and landscaping on the courtyard (a tribute to St. Francis) just outside our gate. In the cool evening breeze twinkling lights closed out a busy day walking to the plaza and Canyon road perfectly(both very close) . Did I mention the delectable breakfast complete with local flavors, a charming and helpful staff, the complementary wine and cheese gathering in the late afternoon? Make your Santa Fe adventure complete....stay here!

Room Tip: Room 136 King Suite is perfect for a Santa Fe adventure.

Thank you for your detailed and poetic review. So glad to hear that you enjoyed your casita and the courtyard, we do promote that casita as our wedding suite. The trees and flowering shrubbery is just magical from now through fall, and snow in winter makes it just as charming.

Happy Travels and we do hope you will return.
