Went for lunch during restaurant week. It was excellent. The restaurant is lovely, can't wait until it's warm out to eat on their lovely patio. The staff and service are top notch, very attentive, personable and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. The green chile chicken corn chowder was full of flavor, as was the enchilada. The portions were plentiful, we took home half of our meal for dinner. Over all a really enjoyable experience, will be back.

My only,complaint....please use recyclable to go boxes, not styrofoam!!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining in this charming restaurant inside the St Francis Hotel. It had been a very long day of travel and we needed someone to help us decide on some amazing menu choices. As karma would have it , our server walked up and introduced herself, " Hi! I'm Anne with an E!"
She made our experience unforgettable! She not only made the most delicious menu suggestions, she was interesting and charming and we hope we see her on our next trip to Santa Fe!

My wife and I each ordered the steak frites; her's was fine, mine had a significant amount of gristle. The fries were so-so. The wine was excellent, and there were no problems with the service. All in all I would say it's an OK restaurant, but there are many better places in town. Sad to say, this was restaurant week when you expect places to put their best together.

What an enjoyable time we had! The buttermilk brined quail with a light tempura batter was an excellent appetizer, as was the green chili corn chowder (had some heat, but we like heat). We both enjoyed the steak frites, but the meat was just a bit tough. Good flavor, however. The frites were yummy, dusted with white truffle oil and parmesan. A very dense chocolatey chocolate almond cake for dessert, as well as an excellent prickly pear flan served with fruit. Two good wines: a Coppola cabernet and a pinot (can't remember the winery). Service was attentive and friendly. A lovely evening in snowy Santa Fe.

We began our early Saturday evening dinner by splitting the warm goat cheese salad – a large enough portion to serve as a main course for a hungry greens eater. The goat cheese was nicely browned, the grapefruit flavorful without being either too sweet nor bitter, and the balsamic reduction sufficient to complement the greens but not overwhelm everything. My wife chose two starters for her main course, the pan seared sea scallop and the poutine. The sea scallop was excellent – fresh and firm atop polenta plus accompanying sauce. The poutine drew raspberries from us both – excellent, crispy french fries buried beneath an over-powering gravy that made all soggy and uninteresting to eat much less taste. By contrast, my lamb chops were perfectly cooked and packed with taste; ditto the accompanying mashed potatoes and sauce. With little space or time remaining, we shared the flan dessert. Little confused about bar service as we were advised “beer and wine only” while others at a table nearby ordered mixed drinks (well there is a bar around the corner from the dining room). Liked their wine list offering some by glass and others by bottle. Service was friendly and attentive – present but not hovering. Tables are adequately spaced to afford some privacy and there’s a lovely looking fireplace (off our evening due to warming weather) for a romantic evening return (or perhaps come spring when their adjoining courtyard opens up).
