While staying at Hilton Buffallo Thunder. We decided to drive over to Cities of Gold Casino to eat breakfast. My grandsons also wanted to bowl. My 82 yr. old father loved their buffet, it was small but welcoming. We also, won some money on the slots. My grandsons bowled for an hour then played in the Arcade. Everyone there was nice and welcoming. It is not a 5 star casino but it is fine.

Rooms were very nice, didn't have a refigerator to put ur drinks in. Rooms were pretty big. The hotel was off the side from the casino. Did have a few machines in the lobby, which made it nice and quite. Had a nice corridor in the hotel. I enjoyed my stay there. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful new hotel in a wonderful place in America. Only thing that was wrong was the ice machine was broken, that should be a priority to get fixed. The casino is a good walk away and is new also. How can you go wrong in Santa Fe?

We were staying in Cities of Gold Casino Hotel one night because we needed to.

The booking was easy and fast. Very efficient I highly satisfied. When my husband checked in, he handed the key to my work place. He told me that : "You will not like it." Then, he told me to look for his car where he parked and entered the door and will find the room. If I lost, I could go to the front desk and asked. Thank goodness, he told me so.

When I got off from work, it was late. I drove down in the dark and finally got to the hotel. Drove around to find my husband car and entered the door look for elevator and went straight to the room. Unfortunately, I remembered the room number wrong. The hotel was very dim in the hall way. I barely clearly looked at the two ladies happened to get out of their room. I stopped them asked for help. Finally, I got to the front desk in the poor visibility environment. Got the right room and finally met up with my husband.

Then, I wanted some ice. With the poor lighted hall way, I failed to get to the ice machine. I went back to front desk and asked again. The girl at the front desk was very good in directing the ice machine BUT it was not working. I went back and asked again. She tried to get me to another ice machine. Thankful, she told that she didn't think that machine was working as well. She asked me to get to the kitchen to ask for ice.

I was thankful she told me so. Because it was almost 11pm at night. I had not have my super late dinner yet.

The bath room tile was very slippery after wet. I did not think it was safe for folks like us to use.

The best thing was the refrigerator worked very well.

For a one night stay, I did not enjoy it and not rested well at all.

The best was the girl at the counter really helpful to get me to what I needed, ICE.

We stayed there one night. We had two rooms next to each other. But only one room had brown bed covers. My kids wanted to take the covers and a few pillows into the other room. After we checked out the hotel charged us $250 accusing us of stealing the pillows and bed covers. I called and explained that they had only been moved to the next room and was told I would be refunded the charge. Never happened. They are liars and thieves!
