The bar feels like old Santa Fe away from the crowds. Happy hour Drinks are in fine print at the bottom of the menu. The $5 classic tasted just as good as the $12+ special.

The Pink Adobe is for me with the hometown vibe and delicious eats. Carolina took great care of us. We started out with the delicious blue corn bread, followed by heaping guacamole and chips. The wine (both red and white) for our group was superb along with our margaritas and cocktails, we were well satisfied. I had the Steak Dunigan followed by the French Apple Pie. The Steak Dunigan was made to my liking with the perfect sides of braised Brussels sprouts and Parmesan broccoli. The double baked and dipped potato soaked up the home sauce of the Dunigan. After dinner, we walked across the patio to the Dragon Room, the sister bar to the Pink Adobe which was like a livingroom, complete with a Christmas Tree out of the ceiling in JULY! A great time was had by all. Cannot wait to return!

The Silver Coin and the Spicy Margaritas are great. The steak was ok, but the Plato Mexicano was fantastic! You should also order the apple pie for dessert. The service and ambience were good as well.

Our condo shuttle driver recommended this and drove us to it. A very nice setting, and bar and courtyard. Two of us had the Louisiana shrimp, which were huge! Five of them. The crust was good but easily fell off the shrimp. I had the lobster, crab and shrimp enchiladas. They were very good. One of us had a medium cooked expensive Steak, but said it was over cooked. Perhaps the best part of the meal was the hot apple pie they gave us to offset the steak! It was wonderful. Did I say the service for the main course was very slow, at least 45 minutes.

The Dragon Room is the bar associated with the Pink Adobe restaurant in Santa Fe. Even though it was >100 outside, the Dragon Room was cool and comfortable--without air conditioning! The same menu as the Pink Adobe is available, as well as the bar menu. My colleagues and I went there twice this week! Excellent meals included the steak Donigan, and the tornadoes filet! An outstanding selection was the rack of lamb--cooked rare to perfection!! This is the only restaurant on the planet in which I will order Brussels sprouts--they are excellent!!!

The Trio appetizer is spectacular!! Guacamole, Cheese queso, salsa, with chips for dipping--wonderful!!

The parking lot is in the back behind the restaurant--you have to drive past the location (which is on the right) and then turn into the parking lot on the right. I have been to this restaurant many times--in the summer the Dragon Room is cool and pleasant, and in the winter the fire places make it cozy.
Say hello to Randy, the bartender (if you are lucky he is working that day)!
