A little hard to find as it’s hidden behind a mattress company.

Staff is very nice and helpful.

Front door locked at 10 PM and must use side entrance which seems odd.

Rooms are OK size. TV is great.

Bath area is clean and adequate size.

Decent dining nearby.

We stayed here 2 times and each time was different. I guess what started with me is the coffee. On Saturday morning, I got up a little before 6 am and the coffee was fresh. We came back to Santa Fe on Thursday night and the next morning at 6 am the coffee was not fresh, I pretty much spitted out. There should have been fresh coffee at that time. Now the room was clean as well as the bathroom. The road to downtown you will see a lot of homeless people. One was hit by a car before we drove up.

This is a smallish, generic Holiday Inn on the main drag about 4 miles from downtown. Nothing much to write about. The carpets throughout are worn out. The so called 'suite' room is quite spacious. Rates are high because it is in Santa FE.

My family and I stopped at this Holiday Inn Express on our way to Colorado. The hotel offered everything you expect from the IHG brand. Welcoming and professional staff, clean hotel, well appointed and comfortable room. C- 19 protocols were in place and followed by both, hotel staff and guests. Though limited due to the pandemic, we are thankful they still managed to offer breakfast and made our stay comfortable. ( We the freshly brewed coffee , and the chocolate muffins!) We accidentally left a folder with personal documents at the hotel. The manager personally called to let us know , and saved the folder for us until we picked it up on our way back from Colorado. I recommend this Holiday Inn Express.

Pros: new, clean, modern décor, fast check-in, comfortable bed.

Cons: door to lobby always locked—security problems? Room narrow and small, hard for two people to pass each other between the bed and the dresser. No easy chair. Only one outlet below desk, no outlet at desk level. No closet, just a small wardrobe. Lamp by bed had a bad bulb. Front desk could move us to another room but would not give us a good bulb for the lamp. Not enough lighting in room, too dark at night.
Disappointing breakfast. I was told to fill out a menu at check-in and pick up a bagged breakfast in the morning. In the morning the server at the breakfast room said she did not get our ticket from the front desk. In the bag was processed, chemically preserved stuff. No famous cinnamon roll.
