Owner description: Sit within a working craft brewery located on Historic Route 66 while sipping pints and enjoying conversation, the fire pit, or a board game. The Brewery and Tap Room offer pints, tasting flights, packaged beer to go, growlers, and brewery merchandise (t-shirts, glassware, tin signs, etc.). We partner with Pizzicletta so you may enjoy award winning Neapolitan style wood fired pizzas from 5:00pm to close daily. Tours occur at 2:00pm on Sundays, or by appointment with advance reservation by calling or emailing the brewery. We are family friendly with dogs welcome on our patio. Stopped in for a pint and because we saw you could order pizza from next door. It is a small, but cozy space. People were friendly and the beers were pretty good. We tried the Kölch and the Porter. I am a fan of dark beers but I think the kölch was better.

First time here, but had heard good things about this place. Although there were no emply tables outside on a Friday night, we shared a picnic bench with another couple. Tall space heaters offered both light and heat! Super friendly people of all ages (well maybe age 2 to 90), nice staff and great beer. Although we didn’t order food (brought in by a place next door), it certainly looked and smelled very good. Although they seen to be well known for their IPAs, we tried a dark ale and a kolsch. Both excellent.

Mother Road offered pretty good beer!! I really liked the nitro. Service was great and you can order pizza at the bar and have it delivered right to your seat from the neighboring restaurant.

The Beer scene in Flagstaff is booming and Mother Road ranks among the best. We saw families with small children enjoying games available indoors and groups cozying up around the small fires outside. Staff was friendly and answered questions about the beers with patience! You can't go wrong with any of the beers, but the Lost Highway Double Black IPA was a particular favorite. Stop by after a long hike or a day on the slopes at Snowbowl.

Flagstaff has a few things of interest, but I went for the beer. Mother Road (referencing Route 66) is one of the top breweries in town along with Historic, Beaver Street, and Lumberyard. You can take the bike tour or just walk (eventually wobbling) around the old town and check it out. There will likely be two more brewpubs before I finish writing this review!
