This is a very old motel in the historic center of Flagstaff, close to restaurants and bars. It's like going back in time. Rooms are very small but clean, the minimum required, no tv, no ac. Trains can be a bit nosy. The staff is very welcoming. The lounge is very cute and serves excellent food and wine.

My husband and I spent a comfortable night here, but we did think that the room was a bit small. We enjoyed having our own (very clean) bathroom with shower. It would have been even better if the shower had had a place to put our soap.
The people who work here were very accommodating about keeping our luggage after check-out time and about letting us hang out in the lobby while we waited for our very late Amtrak train to arrive. Using the lobby's computer was handy, too. The only down side was the loud music from a nearby restaurant late on Saturday night, but that was not the fault of the motel.

Loved this hostel! We stayed in the family room with bunk beds and it was very comfortable and clean. The reception/dining area decor was really cool and Katie at the front desk is super friendly. Fantastic location in old downtown, walking distance to everything, more relaxed than on busy Milton road where we usually stay. I gave it 4 stars because we were on street side on a Saturday night so it wasn't completely quiet--we used earplugs and a white noise machine to help drown out the outside revelers. Also, the curtains weren't blackout, which might be ok for some but we used towels and blankets over to create more darkness for sleeping. Overall, loved the ambiance, will be returning again!

Went here after seeing it walking around in flagstaff earlier that year. Stayed a night and it was cute. Old Route 66 and flagstaff is a great town. Slept great, it was quiet and relaxing. Would go back if I was in the area again!

I stayed in the female dorm, which is essentially 2 bunk beds in a small motel room. It was nice to have a bathroom in the room. Otherwise, the room isn't exactly meant for a hostel dorm. It's way too small and cramped. There are no lockers and the room furniture consisted of a coffee table, side table, and mini fridge that looked like it was used as a side table. The people on the top bunk won't have anywhere to put their belongings, unlike other hostels that usually have tall furniture i.e. Lockers or shelving units to accommodate those on the top. Also, while I was there, one of the workers also lived in the room, and her stuff pretty much took over most of the available space in the room and bathroom. She was very nice and was probably a long term traveler herself, but it kind of felt like moving in with a messy roommate already living there, and you can't really say anything and she wouldn't have anywhere to put her stuff anyway. Aside from that, it's a quiet hostel where you can cook, and with a parking lot. Staff were friendly. Easy to find.
