We really enjoyed our stay here. We’re on a Route 66 road trip and it was great to be able to stay right in the heart of the historic town of Flagstaff just a block off R66.
The hotel has been beautifully restored by its owners and you feel like you could be back in the Wild West.
We stayed over Monday and Tuesday nights. The hotel is very clear in its website that it’s an entertainment venue and on the Monday night there was a blues band playing in the downstairs bar. We were on the first floor and you could clearly hear the music, although it was still easy to watch the TV in our room. The band finished promptly at 9:00, so it was no problem. We did note that the hotel thoughtfully provided ear plus, although we didn’t need them!
Very friendly and efficient service from the manager on the front desk. Nice comfortable bedroom (we had a queen suite). Large bathroom with an old cast iron bathtub.
The only thing that really held me back from giving this a 5 was the lack of a coffee maker in the room. Complimentary coffee is provided downstairs in the morning but the ability to make our own coffee at anytime was missed.More
