Perfectly decent motel right off of the 40 and 17 exits. It looks as though there is ample parking, but maybe not if you check-in late night. U-Hauls take up more than one space, so it can get tight. There is a security guard probably because of the homeless population who wander the trails around the campus. But he certainly didn't offer help to alleviate the parking problem. Like see who owns the trailer and have them park properly. I liked the breakfast bar here, especially the selection of teas which I turned into iced drinks using the room fridge. No problem with housekeeping or the room. But Flagstaff gets chilly most evenings and the heater in my room kept turning on and off every couple of minutes. Not because it reached the appointed temperature. But because that's the way it was working. Probably a faulty thermostat which housekeeping knows nothing about. Anyway, I was only here for two nights and able to handle it. By the way, it'll take a bit more than an hour to drive to the South Rim from here. Probably a little longer going in the east gate by Cameron. But, for me, this way coming back had less traffic. If you return this way, watch for the 40 turnoff off of the 89 at Country Club for a quicker ride.

Room Tip: You might have some noise from the 40 road work at night

My family stayed three nights here and enjoyed our stay! The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast was good, with plenty of variety. Great coffee, waffles, eggs, bacon, bagels, cereal, and a variety of tea choices. The shower was roomy and the staff was informative and friendly! Breakfast was included with the price of the room! We visited Bearizona which was 25 minutes away.

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor!!

Front desk people were the friendliest I have encountered in a long time. When you walked in or came down for breakfast you were always greeted with a great smile and outstanding eye contact. The breakfast room was a great size and had plenty of seating. Hot coffee and juice 24 hours. Coffee was dispensed from an actual machine which guaranteed hot beverages. There was an outdoor area for sitting and also a grill. The rooms are efficient. That's code for small. We would get 2 queens in the future. One king made the room seem small. The rooms are very efficiently laid out and make the most of their space. The sink is separate from the toilet and shower. There is not a bathtub. The room was clean. This is a 2 story building. There is one elevator. The building is long. My suggestion is if you are on the second floor ask for a room in the middle. Although our room was not at the end of the hall it was close enough to the end to hear the freeway noise which ran along the side of the hotel. Great towels. Great water pressure. It's nice toiletries are provided but corporate should provide shampoo and conditioner bottles that will easily dispense. We stayed for 2 nights and it was fine. Just a little small. We would definitely stay again but not in a king and definitely not in a room where you can hear freeway noise. We didn't think we would hear the noise since we weren't all the way at the end but we did. It was our choice not to change rooms. AC worked well and was not noisy. Overall we were very pleased. We would stay again. We recommend.

Room Tip: On the second floor ask for a middle room to prevent freeway noise. Rooms with 2 queens might be larger than one king.

I was surprised that a Sleep Inn looked so good. The rooms are a suite and they have a fridge, microwave and a nice computer. This hotel was a real bargain. The room was very clean, the hotel look new and is well maintained. Check in was quick and it is close to many dining venues.

Super nice people! Great location in Flagstaff, close to restaurants and grocery stores. Great breakfast. Very neat and clean building and rooms. Recommend for families. Hotel is perfect for using as a launch point for the Grand Canyon.
