My son and I stayed in the Wooly Wagon at Medora SD . We booked this for fun . The wagon has a double bed in it and a window that can be opened by a pull system also a fan was avaliable . The bed was a bit firm fore but my done loved the firmness . We laughed so hard when we laid down for the night . The sheets were clean and soft . The bathrooms were close by and very clean and the shower was small but c lean as well. We could make coffee in the morning and sit outside the wagon and look at the mountains. It was an awe experience and we'd do it again .

My husband and I enjoyed our stay with the Wooly wagons! The wagon itself was basic but it gave us a true experience of what it was like for the Shepherd back in the old days. Mary, the owner, was very friendly and gave us a lot of tips/information about the town Medora. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed in the cheap single-person wagon for the night and it could not have been better. The wagon was super comfortable and had everything I needed for the night. The unique feel combined with the rock-bottom price made it an ideal fit for me. The bathroom is just around the corner. It has hot water and is very clean. This is a small town so everything in Medora is super close, including TRNP. Lastly, the owner was very kind and I thank her for her help. If you are looking for nice, non-traditional lodging in Medora, give Custer's Cottage a close look.

We stayed here three nights while visiting TRNP. It was comfortable, clean and a wide variety of dishes and cookware. You should take your own toiletries and some laundry soap. We stayed in Libby's Loft. It was nice that you can chose the number of rooms you will use and pay accordingly. The price was very good.

We stayed at one of Mary's cabins in mid May. It was perfect for our needs, we made breakfast, left and often didn't return until sunset. The bed was very comfortable, the cabin was clean and well kept. If our travels bring us this way again we will stay.
