people around this area (buffalo) mustn't had middle eastern food before. The restaurant looks a bit shabby. it lacks cleaning for sure. the falafel was raw from inside. very green. i can put it among the worst falafel i have eaten. only 2 pieces in the whole sandwich!!!?
the gralic is NOTHING related to garlic. never in my life seen a garlic like that. its more of yogurt. at first i thought it was tahini sauce. the rice was ok. Chicken tekka was good. samoon bread was good. so i guess 1 star for bread and one for chicken?!!
this place could definitely be better if the clean it up a little more. the person cooking was sweating like crazy behind the grill and wearing causal cloth, wiping his sweat with his t-shirt. definitely needs some "safe food handling" training.
definitely will not be back.

Chip says he tried this place based on several recommendations from coworkers, so he went. The exterior doesnt look like much, inside is basic but looks to be a local cultural hangout, adding to its legitimacy.
Menu is varied. Had the chicken shawarma sandwich and housemade hummus. Just that was almost too much food. Portions are great, enough for two.
The chicken was spiced perfectly and the hummus was out of this world served with authentic and fresh out of the oven middle eastern bread (not pita).
Definitely lived up to the claims and we look forward to going back together. A very friendly and quality place for having the word "express" in their title. This is not a cheezy fast food joint.

I love this type of restaurant and food. A small, apparently owner operated little place featuring shwarma, falafal, hummus, etc. We were mildly disappointed last trip, so we thought we would give them another go. Polite gentleman behind the counter presented us with picture menus, making choosing selections easy. We sat at a booth, and the gentleman left the counter and took our order (he cooked as well). We helped ourselves to bottled drinks from the cooler....we had water, but we saw Tops brand soda as well. Looks like they buy whatever is on sale at the grocery store. I had the falafal plate (8.99)...8 big balls, hummus and some lettuce & tomato. Really good. Husband had the combo plate (14.50), a disappointment. The various items were are precooked and reheated. Seriously dry. Highlight is the rolls....puffy house made. They are also known for their amazing flat bread. Maybe they should concentrate on selling breads. No baklava or other desserts...just candy bars. Two lunches were $30, a lot for poor hole-in-the-wall ethnic food.

I came here on my trip to Buffalo and I was not disappointed. This place had a twist with the bread. They serve Iraqi Samoon bread.

I did a take out and ordered Chicken shawarama sandwiches which was a little different as it was served in Iraqi Samoon bread and we also ordered Mixed Grilled plater which came with around 5 to 6 different kabaab and rice and I also ordered a Shish Kabaab plate which came with 4 kabaabs, salad and hummus. They also gave 3 Iraqi Samoon bread. I was very impressed with spices used on the kabaabs and the portion they served within a reasonable price range.

The staff is friendly and they cook in front of you and the serve is fast.

They serve halal meat and also provide free Wifi. I will definitely recommend it.
