I was blown away with the Peek a boo canyon tour. Ken was very informative and passionate about the canyon. His pride of being native came through over and over again. This is a bucket list item for everyone

Ken was our hummer driver and guide for this excursion. Two of us sat at the back in raised seats (with seat belts). Ken seemed well informed about the area and terrain we drove through. He stopped a few times along the way to talk about the native plants and animals. We arrived at a slot canyon and walked in a quarter mile or so. It was really a sight to see. Ken gave us a little history and guided us all the way to the end of the canyon and back out again. We had many photo opportunities and I'm glad we took the tour. Be careful if you sit at the very back of the hummer (we went out in the "open air" hummer), there is one spot on the sandy trail that got VERY bumpy as we went up a slight incline. Ken drives slowly but you could get thrown about if not wearing your belt. Overall it was a good experience and it was clear that Ken loves what he does and is passionate about preserving the landscape for future generations.

I've been on other tours to other slot canyons in the area, but this tour of Peek a Boo Canyon was by far the best! Our guide Ken was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He grew up in the area and knows every detail about the canyons and surrounding areas. He took us off road through the foothills, stopping to explain the local plants and animal tracks along the trail. The canyon itself was AMAZING! We were the only ones there, which made the experience all the more incredible. No need to rush to take pictures. Ken visits this slot canyon daily, and explained how the landscape had changed from the previous day due to the recent rain. We thoroughly enjoyed his stories about growing up in the area, and his experiences living in such a beautiful place. We will definitely come back again.

Where to begin? This tour was AMAZING. By far the highlight of our entire trip. Our tour guide Ken was so knowledgeable, so kind, and a really enjoyable guide. Not once did he look at his watch or check his phone, he was completely focused on giving us the best tour possible, there was no rush, it wasn't about time slots but completely about enjoying and exploring nature. His knowledge of the land and his stories of Kanab were so great. This tour was like exploring new land with an old friend. He had some really cool information to share about the plants and wild life and even the weather in the area, which is information that you just can't get from a book or website. Ken has been local to the area forever and he really knows his stuff! We took the Hummer into a slot canyon on the most beautiful day and had a really great time! My boyfriend actually found the brochure for this tour at the last minute and Ken was able to take us on a tour anyway and I am so thankful.
If you want to see the desert and the canyons and landscape of Utah you absolutely need to take this tour. I would recommend it for anyone!!
