Spectacular views,
Strongly advised to make early in the morning on the day of beautiful weather.
The flight time (45 minutes) is definitely enough.
This was a great way to see sun going down, having hot air ballooned before was quite impressed by set up very safe and price $70 each but trip was short only about 40 minutes
Only a short trip up in the air (40 mins- 1 hour) however it was a great experience.
Really cheap in comparison to what you would pay elsewhere for a hot air ballooning trip, however the service/safety is not compromised.
The pilot does not really say anything throughout the trip in regards to pointing out sights etc, so if you are looking for an informative trip this wont happen.
We did the sunrise trip which was really nice, however i dont think that there would have been any difference between the 2 different sunrise times and the sun set time - all equally enjoyable
Definitely do it if you get a chance
I did the early morning balloon flight and it was amazing. The views of the countryside around Vang Vieng are stunning, and this is by far the best way to see them. It's so cheap too, compared with ballooning in other countries. Well worth the money for an unforgettable experience.
My family and I took an afternoon flight on Christmas day for $69USD which is a quarter of the price of one from my home town. Was an awesome view of the Vang Vieng town, the mountains on the otherside and the Mekong coming down the middle full of kayakers and tubers.
It was an amazing experience to see the area of Vang Vieng from a balloon. It's cheap (only $ 68).
