We decided to splurge and have dinners here with our family. The setting and ambience is fantastic and the service was faultless- best yet in Laos. Our waiter, Kip, was knowledgeable, attentive and good humoured. He certainly added to our pleasurable evening. We had the Lao degustation which he modified for our dietary needs. The fish in banana leaves was a standout. The wine, while a little pricey for us, was still a treat and we had the French Shiraz which was delicious. I think we will be back in the few days we have here in vv.

This is a very pleasant restaurant with a nice terrace for outdoor dining. I had the Or Lam which was excellent and service was attentive without being obtrusive. One minor criticism - the wine was a bit expensive by local standards, though it was good. Overall , good value given the quality of food, service and setting.

The title says it all: The menu is quite short, but whatever you order is excellent. And you rarely find a more attentive service. All this in a beautiful setting - the perfect place for a romantic dinner. (It is certainly a good idea to reserve a table.)

It is the restaurant of the riverside boutique resort.
Very nice location overlooking the river.
Very good Lao food ( better that all restaurants tried in Luang Prabang).
Well prepared western dishes.
Service friendly and efficient
Booking is recommended in order to be seated outside.

Duck salad was quite superb. The ambiance is fabulous too. They did run out of the top 2 favoured desserts which was disappointing- if we weren’t moving on I could be tempted to go again. Menu is cleverly a combination of either Lao or French.
