This was a great hotel. It's not overly expensive (for Bonifacio, that is), was very comfortable and clean, and I think most rooms have a lovely balcony that's perfect for breakfast (you can also eat breakfast in the hotel breakfast room for 8 Euros). The staff was excellent and did many things to help us:
1) Kept reception open late for us
2) Alerted us that A/C wasn't working and when we said it was still very hot, snuck us up a fan (but said not to tell because we were the only people they gave it to ;))
3) Offered to drive us to the airport when taxi was running late
4) Mailed a missed toiletry bag

A great hotel with great staff and only steps from the Port!

Stayed in October so the area was quiet. The room was very outdated with no furniture. Tripped over suitcases that had to be on the floor. The price was reasonable for the location which was good because you wouldn't want to spend a moment in the room you didn't have to.

While not right in the thick of things at the port or in the haute ville, I liked the convenience of A Madonetta. It's easier to get to/from than something on the port or in the haute ville and there was ample parking. The bustling port was a 5 minute easy walk for things like dinner or boat tours. Getting up to the citadel is another 15 minute hike, but there's also a petit train the leaves from the port.

The hotel itself was quite clean and the staff was friendly, which was a welcome change from some other places we stayed on the island. Wifi was reliable. Spar market is 100m away. Laundry is another 100m.

There's a small takeaway pizza place right next to the parking lot. Perfect if you need an easy bite at your hotel. I didn't eat there, but they seemed to do pretty steady business.

We had a wonderful time in Bonifacio, highly recommended. We alos much enjoyed our stay at Madoneta - Large family room, very clean and modern, few steps away from harbour, a Spar nearby, free parking, very attentive staff

their Wifi coverage needs a serious improvement

Room Tip: family room is just great

My husband and I loved our stay here. We stayed in the junior suite. The room was spacious, clean and had a balcony. The bathroom was very nice as well. This quiet little gem will give you the best bang for your buck. Just a 5 minute walk from the Bonifacio port and citadel, you'll avoid being overcharged by other establishments simply for a view of the water. The staff are very friendly, but don't speak English, which wasn't a problem for us at all. Overall great experience. Wifi is a little slow, but we didn't want to be on our phones anyway.
