Just in Bonifacio for the day ( from Sardinia by ferry) and ended up right at the top of the city - take the land train up if you don't fancy the climb and found ourselves outside this hotel. Very modern, minimal, smart. A friendly welcome. It was very hot so chose to eat inside rather than outside though the garden is very pretty and has awnings and umbrellas for shade. It was quiet and very peaceful away from the crush of the tourist restaurants in the marina and old town.
Had a marvellous risotto with saffron, very simple but utterly perfect. Husband had pasta. We had a beer and coffees. As I say, nothing extraordinary, just simple things done well.More
