Description: The best food our family had in Sri Lanka!

We were very fortunate that Adams Breeze was so close to our accommodation. The restaurant itself is largely outdoors covered by a tin roof. Don’t let the lack of sophistication put you off. The food was delicious and plentiful. We opted for biriyani, dhal and roti with lassi to drink (alcohol is not available). We enjoyed the food so much that we went back on our second night for Rice & Curry. Both times the food arrived quickly and was excellent quality and quantity. The owner did most of the serving and was a very pleasant and friendly man. Whilst Adams Breeze isn’t “fine Dining”, it provides excellent food and great value for money.

Went here twice: once for lunch on the way back from Nine Arch Bridge and again for breakfast after a walk to Little Adam’s Peak. Both times the service was polite and the food delicious: tastiest on our trip so far. We had koththu for lunch (500rs each) and string hoppers with onion sambal, potato curry and dhal for breakfast (500rs each including coffee). Portions were huge. Not much of a view but nice spot.

Portions were HUGE - the Sri Lankan curry should really be for two people shame I couldn’t finish it. biryani was beautiful and samosas fresh. Decor reminded me of a holiday campsite but thoroughly enjoyed my evening.

Overall really well priced - we were fed and watered for 1700.

Slightly unwarranted dogs come and go but they are harmless and just slept under tables!

On our way back from Adam’s peak, we enjoyed a coke and vegetarian (plus dhal) kotthu. Was delicious. Friendly staff. Fun and genuine atmosphere. No frills.

Went there for dinner. Never had kottu before, so can’t compare, but it was very good and portions are quite big. The staff is very nice and accommodating, and the location is perfect I would say: just a small walk from Ella center, but already much quieter and relaxed.
The staff was however not so easy to find, as they were constantly at the kitchen not checking the dining area often, so I had to wait a long time till I could ask for a bill.
All in all great experience and Id come again to try more of their food which all looked delicious :)
