A good location away from 'the strip' of clubs and noise. Very relaxing hotel with a good size pool and bar/restaurant area. An assortment of pool toys e.g. balls, floats etc. Decent food and friendly, helpful staff. Our room had a nice balcony with table and chairs and was in the block set back from the pool and other apartments. The bathroom was small and you need to take your own toiletries as a travel size shower gel/shampoo is only supplied on the first day. A 10 minute walk gets you right into the old town with lovely restaurants and tavernas. Do your research to find the type of places you want to visit.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the block where the reception is. Book the biggest option you can afford to get more space.

Very nice place. People are amazing. Very clean. It's in the old town away from all the clubs and nightlife. But if you want that it is close enough to walk. Shop about for car hire as there is sooooo many and you can get a deal.
The pool is lovely and at night looks fantastic.
The hotel food is really good and I would recommend eating there. Meat balls are fantastic.

The hotel is very good. Rooms are pretty standard and breakfast is ordinary and same, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool area is amazing and of a good size.
For families and couples this hotel is a good option but it's on a hill and around few minutes walk from malia centre so just be aware of that.
All in all its a decent 3 star hotel with services of 4 star.

if you are looking for a perfect relaxing atmosphere for a couple or family vacation far from the malia jersey shore scene, look no further. Tastefully decorated rooms with comfortable beds and silent rooms, nice food and friendly welcoming family business. Only positive praise for the receptionist Korina who was totally efficient and made sure that all the guests were very welcomed and properly accommodated. The pool has the best atmosphere day and night and very difficult to find an excuse to get up and explore elsewhere. Short walk from the old town of Malia with recommended restaurants. 30 minutes walking distance to beach although i would personally recommend to take the bus and go to Potamos beach or hire a car and seek better beaches out of town.

Too noisy and the staff did not care that we couldn't sleep because of the noise. It is really a hotel and city for 18 year olds that just want to party. We are a couple in our 30s we just wanted to enjoy the beach and the pool, so we went to the wrong hotel-city. The building is so poorly constructed that you can hear EVERYTHING. I wrote upon arrival and asked for a quiet room. I was told not to worry that I was already located in one. The first night we were woken up many times at 1am and then at 5 and 6 am (this repeated every single night). Our room was under the stairs so you could hear every step. The rooms have a good size but the bathroom is horrible. Super small and the horrible bath curtain will stick to you while you showered!! They NEVER replaced soap or shampoo, and when we asked for one mini soap, they gave us one but said that they do not replace them. When we went to spoke with the receptionist about the noise, she said "I can't do anything" she did not even try to help us, or neved apologized. Do not stay there!

Room Tip: It is very noisy, probably everywhere. It is also full of groups of very young british/german kids that just want to party

Dear Audrey,
Thank you for taking your time to comment on your recent stay and your honest feedback.
It is our aim to offer our guests an entirely satisfactory service at Notos Heights Hotel & Suites. We truly apologize for the inconvenience you had concerning the noise. Since it is pick of a season it is difficult to avoid the younger groups who are only traveling during July. It is also to be regretted that the help of the receptionist didn’t meet your expectations. We have already spoke about the situation and this will not happen again.
We hope to see you back again in our hotel in order to convince you about the quality of our services.
Sincerely yours, Eva
