I have been coming to Hotel Hermes since 2004 and I have seen the changes in it. From old traditional dated décor to the newly renovated décor.
People say the 3rd floor rooms are dated, as a matter of fact they are what you would get in many greek hotels of tradition. After speaking with Mikalis the owner, these are infact going to be renovated this winter (2016).
I have grown a close relationship with this family and have a lot of time and love for them. They take care of everyone, even the young 18-20+ year olds who are rude and disrespectful to the hotel they are staying in.
I have witnessed extremely loud music and shouting in the early hours - no need you can do this down Beach Road where the music is played loud for the customers.
Some reviews state Anna the receptionist is rude and has a bad attitude, this is absolutely WRONG, Anna is a good working greek lady who respects her guests if they respect her. She is more of a mother figure to the young guests who visit, so when she tells them to be a little quieter and turn the music down she is doing it for the benefit of the other guests in the hotel and the surrounding neighbours who live next to the hotel. Maybe when they grow up a little and go on holidays where hotels are quieter after 11pm they will reflect on their own behaviour.
Rita - great lady with excellent customer relations skills and always well dressed. An asset to the hotel and bar. Not a bad word to say!!
Our lovely Maria who makes all the food and especially her homemade food is the best. Always have time for Momma Maria :)
Mikalis - Don't worry Be happy :) Until next year!!
Keep up the good work you all do for making this hotel a great hotel to visit.
