We wandered in to this restaurant for lunch today, expecting to have something and then walk on, but once we started talking to our host Federico, 3 hours, 4 courses, a couple of beers and a bottle of wine later, we walked out completely satisfied with the experience we just had. This is the first time ever at a restaurant that money was never an issue. He asked us what do we like to eat and we told him. Trust me he said, to give you a special meal. We ordered nothing and left it up to him. Appetizer was Bruscetta, cured Ham on bread, Mozzerella cheese in lightly fried zucchini and deep fried pasta balls. Seconds was a plate of thinly sliced Tuna with fresh lemon squeezed over and a large bowl of fresh mussels, the best I've ever eaten. Main dish was a Sea Bass with pasta and sauce. This was presented to us and the Federico took the fish apart and plated it for us at our table. This made us feel very special. This was food that needed to be eaten completely, to give them the respect of such a great meal, as full as we were already feeling. Dessert was a number of small items to share between us and unfortunately I can't remember their names, but each had its own great taste. On the whole, this was an amazing dining experience for us and everything we had hoped for in coming to Italy for a holiday. Congratulations to the wonderful staff of Tirimbo for making this a very special moment for us and we give our warmest appreciation to you.
