Description: The restaurant's atmosphere is warm and welcoming, while the surrounding garden enhances the overall mood with a touch of romance. During the hotter months meals are served outdoors under a bower of climbing roses and wisteria. Here the gourmet can savour the true aroma and flavour of the Chianti region.

I have been coming to italy all my life and in this region many, many times. The pappardelle with boar and pine nuts is probably the best pasta I have had. Cooked to perfection and tasted sublime. Hard to think of a better recommendation. The risotto was a delight as well. Decent sized portions and all very sensibly priced. A real pleasure.

This was a lovely restaurant experience for our last evening in Tuscany. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the waiters were particularly helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend the beef cheek as a main course which was absolutely gorgeous alongside a lovely garlic mash potato; followed by the fig mille-feuille which was delicious and also quite light. Another member of our party had the venison scallops - all of which was hugely enjoyed and a worthwhile meal.

We first went here eleven years ago on the night before our son's wedding, this was also where he had proposed to his girlfriend. We went again last week, this time with our son and daughter in law, her parents and our two grandchildren, What a superb evening - sitting outside under a pergola covered with vines, overlooking the most spectacular mountains and valley, a warm, starlit night. Dinner was delicious - we had so many lovely things but for me the stuffed courgette flowers were the best. Ricardo, about to become a father for the first time, was attentive and entertaining , adding to the wonderful atmosphere. This is a special place, appealing to couples and families alike, with well spaced tables and a relaxed atmosphere. I just wish we could go more frequently!

We ate outside, with a view of the valley and hills. The food was excellent and the service friendly and accommodating.

Stayed for lunch with family of six. The owner Mr. Stucchi weolcomes us and we are quickly guided to our table. Water served in large bottles, nice clean menues, friendly waiters and excellent food accompanied by a nice riserva from 2007. We were in heaven. Thank you - we will be back.
