I had to work in the Argyll area and coming back to the Dunivaig after a long hard day was always a warm and comforting experience. The rooms were comfy with gorgeous views, very good facilities and very clean. Lovely breakfast too. The best feature of the Dunivaig for me was the hospitality and kindness of Louise, Peter and the rest of the family who welcomed me with open arms and helped me feel at home in Tarbert. Fudge the cat also made me feel welcome too :) Overall, a beautiful and lovely place to stay. Thank you! Lena x

Room Tip: Go for the King room. Best views, I once saw a seal from there!!!

Stayed here overnight - wish it was longer! The owners are very friendly and their B&B is so clean and lovely. We had an early ferry so didn't get to enjoy their cooked breakfast but was given a huge pack lunch to get us thru!
Definitely a must if your in Tarbert!

We stayed at Dunivaig for one night. We arrived with a late ferry, but it was not a problem for the owners. It was a nice and clean room, comfortable bed and a stunning view over the harbour. When we spotted a seal the owners handed us binoculars so we could get a closer look. The breakfast was good as well.

The bathroom door was kind of moist so we were not able to close it, but as we pointed that out to the owners they would fix it. Absolutely a good place to stay, close to Harbert and worth its price.

We flew into Glasgow, rented a car,and drove to Tarbert so we could catch the ferry the next morning to Islay. This inn is about a mile out of town, but it's worth the distance. We had a beautiful room with windows galore overlooking the Loch Fyne. Welcome to Scotland, for sure! Our innkeeper gave us suggestions for dinner, and the restaurant we went to (Blue Star) was great. And the walk to town was easy! We had to leave very early the next morning, so we were given a great "to-go" breakfast. Oh! And the Tarbert harbor is beautiful. All in all, a great place to stay.

Stayed here with my family for one night last weekend. Excellent facilities. Lovely warm welcome, Louise made us feel very welcome and we all really enjoyed our stay, like a home from home. Thank-you. Amazing views, beautiful part of the world, would highly recommend and would love to go back. Helped to relive some childhood memories of family holidays spent in this part of Scotland.
