There were some great displays at the museum, including a very well preserved mummy. The setting was also very picturesque.

From the 2000 year old mummy, to craft and everyday items Jingzhou Museum had so much to see. There are great photo opportunities and the chance to learn a lot about the local history. We loved every minute of our time there and would definitely go back and spend more time.

The mummy was on display so all can see. Interesting displays of Chinese history. Give yourself and hour and check it out.

Beautiful interconnected buildings with a center water feature make this a wonderful place to visit. The historic relics contained within the museum's walls only add to the intrigue. I especially enjoyed viewing Mr. Sui, the museum's very well preserved mummy. The mummy's well preserved guts are strikingly positioned next to the mummy's body. It is all a little gruesome in a good sort of way.
