I stayed one night (5th March) on a short break from a business trip. What a great hotel! The location was fantastic (very central) and the hotel itself was true 5 star.
I could not fault the rooms, the service or any aspect of the hotel itself. Well worth staying in if you plan to visit Taizhou.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on a short business trip to Taizhou. It is well located in the center of Luqiao neighborhood and near the exhibition center - fitting my planned visits and meetings.
The hotel is quite striking from outside as it dominates the skyline.
The hotel is very luxurious- every small detail in the lobby and in the very spacious room is fully thought out. Certainly all at a very high standard.
The service from the staff (though not all fluent in English) was top notch- I was served tea while waiting to check-in, accompanied by a bell boy to my room where an additional hostess waited with a glass of local drink. At the elevator and at every other place, smiling staff were waiting and anxious to provide service.
The breakfast was excellent- equally rich on the Chinese style offerings ad the Western style - though the french pastries confectioners can still take lessons from the French...
Overall, one of the best hotels I have been to in China at a very affordable price.
Highly recommended.

We went to the restaurant at 8:55 pm. We couldn't get any food, because kitchen closed. None of the staff could speak English but we manage to find a taxi and a Starbucks near to the Hotel. The service in Taizhou Int. Hotel is 0 starts.

Almost all machines in the training center was broken or totally worn down.

The Hotel is not clean.

I strongly recommend you to find another Hotel in Taizhou.

Good hotel, its few minutes to downtown or you can just walk to Wanda Plaza for shopping but a little bit far to the Factories and Metro, Breakfast is a mixture of Chinese and English Cuisine, walking distance to the Pizza Hut, room size is standard and clean.

The hotel room size is very good and that is the only good thing about it

This hotel wants to be 5 stars--what a joke

Room cleanliness below average--the coffee cups were never washed one in the 7 days that I stayed there
The bench above the mini bar was never cleaned once
Soap replacements were not provided I had to take them from the cleaners cart
Replacement tea bags were not provided we ended up purchasing them from outside despite leaving tea bags in the cup showing that they has been used
Business no English spoken obsolutely useless
Front desk hardly any one spoke English
Do not use Australian dollars they are not accepted, we tried twice gave up and used USD
Now the restuarent review

The coffee cups were not washed properly and were chipped as were chop sticks
Out do 10 dinner plates used 8 were chipped some were cracked
The sushi I must admit was good as well as the dumpling soup
The rest of the buffet was not hot but tepid, the beef, pork and duck was dried out sitting under the heat lamp
Ice cream wagon was good , it served New Zealand made ice cream

The highlight of eating in the restuarent one night was that a local Chinese business man cleared his throat and spat out the phlegm near the buffet food table

I am sure the spectacle was done for our benefit as we were the only westerner in the restuarent

The only redeeming feature of this hotel was the room size

We stayed there for 7 days

As for international 5 star rating forget it, maybe achievable using Chinese standard

If this hotel wants a benchmark go visit the renaissance hotel on Hong Kong island

This hotel supposedly had non smoking rooms

Ours was classified as non smoking, yet had an ashtray with matches

I have travelled to china for over 30 years and have stayed in all sorts of quality hotels
But this one was something else

Room Tip: Ask for the suite
