Firstly, let me thank the extremely courteous staff of Homeric Poems for making our stay so enjoyable and warm!
Initially coming over from Firostefani parking (We had rented a smart car), we had trouble locating the hotel. Then we gave a call to them and they sent the bell boy immediately to us.
We stepped down towards our room and were totally amazed by the view!
The feel of the hotel is very home-like as if you are living in one of Santorini's beautiful small white homes.
Still they had all the amenities to our disposal. Our room being apartment-pool level, had a kitchentte, patio/balcony with the most amazing view, and the swimming pool a few steps down).
Here are the pros n cons:

Pros:
The view from the room, balcony, hotel was priceless!
The location - 15min walk to Fira
The staff and courtesy

Cons:
None

Recommended?: YES!!!! The best boutique hotel experience ever!

Room Tip: Almost all the rooms have views from the patios which is what really matters. It's all about the view.

Very comfortable and quiet hotel with first rate service and breathtaking views from your balcony. Breakfast brought to order on your balcony at a pre agreed time was truly spoiling. Other meals we ate in the hotel compared favourably against all but the priciest restaurants on the island whilst being remarkably reasonable. The pool was cold in early July, though this was very welcome for those that enjoyed sunbathing in the heat of the day. If you are after something a little special in a comfortable but non-flash style we thoroughly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is the perfect place to stay in Santorini, since it's right in the middle of the island. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and the view was breathtaking. It was really like a dream. The staff was always friendly and the room was beautiful. We explored the entire island and this hotel was a great jumping off point since it's right in the middle - you can go right or left and easily find your way back, driving or walking. It's close to a city center, but far enough away that you're not bothered by the crowds and cruise ships. The hotel location was a bit hard to find, so I would recommend taking them up on the offer for transportation from the airport. Then if you want to rent a car, there are plenty of places to do so within walking distance. I highly recommend Homeric Poems and Santorini in general. I didn't want to leave!

Was upgraded to the Grand Suite for one night and moved to a regular Apartment, "Penelope," the second. Grand Suite was spacious, generous with a private pool and scenic balcony. The view off the Grand Suite was stunning and unobstructed. Privacy is difficult to find in Santorini, the Grand Suite was no exception, with the hotel bar just below the balcony, and adjacent hotel's pool deck just next door. I did wish the private pool was heated. The Honeymoon suite has a more private balcony. The Apartment while smaller was much more charming with character. It has a more "room carved in the cliff" feel. Apartment has a patio in front, where breakfast is brought and served, and allows for evening sunset viewing and cocktails.

Sunset: everyone wants a sunset view, and Homeric Poems provides a perfect location for that. The sun sets perfectly between the mountains into the horizon, this was in late May, and hotel has direct view.

Pool and Bar: wasn't a huge pool but it was adequate. Infinity pool and bar provide superb location for sunset viewing.

Location: it was my first time and I tolled over what part of the island I should stay. I opted for Firostefani b/c it was less congested, and has better unobstructed sunset view, compared to Fira and Oia. It also provided a great excuse to hike leisurely DOWNHILL to Fira. The reverse uphill would have been too exhausting. Walking to Oia would have been too far. Taxi ride was fast and cheap. I did also spend two nights in Oia and will review Art Maisons Aspaki. Keep in mind that unless your hotel is at the western tip of Oia, you won’t get the sunset from your balcony. So while Oia town is more charming and famous for its’ sunset view, you probably have to hike to see the sunset.

All in all great staff and service, and would return in a heart beat.
