We had the most amazing 'feast' for $50 a head. Octopus legs, king prawns, lamb cutlets, stuffed broadbeans... the whole meal was amazing... the service was amazing... we were so full we had to say stop to anymore food coming out. Very impressed!

Came as a group of 6 and were given an odd table curving around the corner. Food was ok (very limited menu). Service was odd w the waiter randomly joining in our conversation and constantly interrupting to ask 'are you done' about empty plates.

We had dinner at Demitri's last night. It was the best Greek food I have ever eaten. Like being back in Athens. We even had to order a second plate of grilled octopus as it was so delicious. The staff were fantastic and helpful. Demitri was very welcoming. It felt more like eating in his house than a restaurant. Even though we were stuffed full we still had dessert, delicious Greek delicacies. I highly recommend eating at Demitri's and look forward to being able to return.

Beautiful, fresh, tasty Greek food. There are some wonderful starters & tasty mains, all top quality, served by friendly staff.
Our part of 9 were welcomed by the owner & at the suggestion of staff were served a variety of share starters, each one full of flavour & a wonderful variety. Mains were equally tasty & our vegetarians found as much to enjoy as the Carnivors
Thoroughly recommended

Overwhelmingly, this project is a great success. The food, service, atmosphere and prices were impressive.

The restaurant has reopened after extensive renovations. Three of us tried the mostly closed in courtyard at the back. This seemed a better option than trying to sit in the narrow corridor up the front.

The menu is not extensive, with an emphasis on small plates to share. There were 3 extra daily specials for mains and another 3 for dessert. We had broad bean keftedes (that will change your mind about broad beans, $9), fetta and figs ($12), whitebait - great value at $12, lamb cutlets ($18), slow cooked goat (superb if a little pricey at $29), spanikorizo (warm spinach and rice) and lemon potatoes. The black taramosalata ($12) has to be tried. You won’t go back to brash, salty tarama after trying this subtle elegant dip.

Unlimited mineral water for the table was $5. Also tried Dimitri’s Lager ($8) which is only available at the venue. Nicely bitter and with a firmer body than many lagers. Perfect match for the food.

We finished off with fig semolina and baklava. Both had intense flavours and aromas without being too sweet. $12 each. The baklava was drier than many with less pastry. This style made the others look gooey and overly sweet. They warned us the baklava was large enough to be shared. Clearly they mainly deal with amateurs!

Service was very good, with chatty and attentive waitstaff who were never far away. All the dishes came out quickly.
