I appreciated this hotel on a historical/cultural level-- its architecture, design and overall aesthetic (not to mention the lingering cigarette smell) really make you feel like you've gone back in time to the Soviet era.
The novelty of the throwback is almost entirely responsible for my rating because, beyond that and the convenience of the location, it's not really the most luxurious or comfortable option. The inside of the hotel feels kind of dreary and oppressive. Bathroom and room furniture is obviously dated. Parking is not included.
I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than one night.More
