This place has good location for a lot of nice hikes/drives, but it is smack in the middle if the most crowded parts if the town.
The rooms on the fontside are very nosy. Restaurants below will keep you awake till past midnight with romantic corsican ballads, garbage trucks wake you up at 4am, early leaving guests wake you up at 6am, hotel personnel wake you up at 8am... your choice!

The rooms on the backside do seem to be much, much more silent but you need to book these specifically in advance- if even possible. We got a street view room fir 2 nighs in early september, and was impossible to swap it (yes we tried).
They have a good parking behind, tho quirky to reach it but they give you a good explanation at the checkin if you need.
Breakfast ok - usual sweet stuff like baguette butter and jam.

So- book a backside room, or better yet book a room outside of downtown.

This hotel is the champion in the category: 'what you reed is what you get'. But no more, and no less.
A clean room? Check. Balcony? Check. Free parking behind the hotel? Check. Bathroom? Check. Close to the city centre? Check. Reception ok? Check. City Map available? Check. All is there. Expect no more, no less.

The one and only surprise is the price. Astonishing cheap compared to other hotels on Corsica.

This hotel should have three stars. A fantastic place for an overnight stay in Corte!

The place is clean, internet works fine.
Very old fashioned, you seem returning in the sixties..
The triple room was so small, there was not really any space to open the suitcases.
Bathroom is clean but very old fashioned, old bathtub with no shower facility and no splash guard, so that standing in the tub to shower risks to flood parts of the bathroom (so not really inviting to use it).
Front door was opened even late in the evening, so gave a limited safety feeling.
Staff was friendly and very helpful, especially during breakfast. As if wanting to compensate the weakness of their room facility.

Room was large with double bed and lots of room to walk around. Bathroom very dated, need to climb in the bath to shower and hold the old fashioned hand shower head. Clean and change of towels daily.
No safe to use for valuables, no fridge, no air conditioning and no tea/coffee in room. A small plasma screen T V mounted on a bracket from the wall and hand control from front desk.
Wifi free with code fr om front desk.
Breakfast basic continental style. Small elevator to get to the different floors of the hotel, enough for 2 people with suitcases. Staff very helpful and friendly.
One important thing, reception closes at 20h, so DO NOT Loose Your KEY.
Hotel is well located and within walking distance to the town centre and visiting places. There is a bar next to the hotel for drinks.
Parking available but limited

This was a last minute booking and found this hotel available. The management were always very nice the room clean with clean towels every morning. The breakfast was decent and the the hotel is situated in a ideal place away from the chaotic streets but 5 minutes away by walk to the main attractions
