After a 3 hour drive to come to this specific restaurant we were welcomed by the two brothers that run the restaurant.
After a Very charming welcome we ordered two drinks and placed our order. We took a grilled dorade, grilled mushrooms and fritto misto all topped off with pita bread.
Great taste all fresh and the fish incredible.
We decided to go back for lunch the next day and ordered pita gyros and grilled sardines.
Desserts and raki are always offered.
Great service and friendly staff.
Thank you for the great experience.

EAT HERE! One of the best restaurants so far on our trip. Food was excellent (pork chop, calamari) the homemade butter was to die for! The family takes great pride and it shows...don't miss this place!

What a wonderful place. We were made so welcome and the food was delicious. I suggest you book, this is a popular restaurant and rightly so.

Best food so far in Crete. Family restaurant. Great service. Ate too much. Right on a lovely beach. Fresh eggs and veggies from their garden. Homemade Raki too.

We had lunch at Vasilis Taverna twice during our stay nearby. This a family run restaurant and staff were lovely with a real interest in producing great food and ensuring customers have a great experience. The food was fresh and very tasty. Their Greek salad was amazing, all locally grown produce and their home made olive oil was beautiful. The meals are very reasonably priced and the restaurant has great atmosphere with it overlooking the beach.

They gave complimentary fruit, dessert and Raki after every meal which was a really nice touch.

I would definitely recommend a visit here, it was an absolute treat after the terrible food we experienced at a nearby all Inclusive hotel!
