Lovely clean reception area, which was welcoming after a long travel period.
The room/apartment was clean and very spacious with a lovely balcony area.
The hotel was friendly and it was an enjoyable stay.
I imagine that in the warmer months the lack of aircon might be an issue, but for the cooler months from December-February it is fine (I visited in January). I will definitely return.

The Cabau Cala D'Or had very obviously been renovated since our last visit (10 years ago). The facade looked excellent and our apartment was also in excellent decorative order. The bed was very comfortable and the living area was well appointed. The kitchen are had both a hob and a microwave oven along with a kettle and toaster.
Overall it was a very comfortable place to spend a week and had the added bonus of being close to the Europa centre.
Been staying for quite a few years now new year but won’t be going back due to the sunbed rush, it’s never been as bad as this year before, to get a sunbed you had to make sure you were at the pool for 8.30 to queue up with other guests!! (People actually in pyjamas) I did it once (dressed) and that was only because my family were leaving that day at lunchtime and we needed to be around there, embarrassing, management shouldn’t allow towels being left on them when nobody is using them, all English people too doing it! Apart from that hotel good and staff friendly.
Nice hotel and nice location in Puerto Rico. Nice rooms. At the pool area, they play music so incredibly loud that you don't want to lie there. We only had the room cleaned 3 times during a week.Good view of the city and a bit of the sea.
Best Apartments in Puerto Rico by far. Very comfortable, all facilities. Very good shower and clean towels and sheets frequently. We've tried many during the 39 years we've been going to PR and none of them have all of the qualities that Cala d'Or has.
I have to mention the Staff, as for us this is so important!! Xabi, in charge of Entertainment, great Lad, who everyone loves!! Saray, Yolly, Jess, Alejandro, Jannau, Giuseppe and Liliana, who run the bar and cook food and snacks, excellent team and all lovely people. Lifeguard Andi, always so helpful! Last but not least the reception team, Miguel, Israel, Marco and Cynthia :)
We had the best New Years Eve, such good fun and great music. Last of all the friendly crowd we have met there for the last few years, and can't wait to meet up with again :)
Apartments are within easy walking distance of Commercial centre and the beach.
I Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s very clean, The rooms are clean and modern and it’s run by some lovely staff. Great for families and couples. You’re also close to all amenities. Can’t wait to revisit in May
