Small typical restaurant with the owner and his lady.
The serve typical canarische foodies with a lot of passion.
As his advice and you wordt be disappointed.
I had very tasty goatmeat and a variant on the typical desert with milk and palm honey.

Thank Daiamres

We were invited by friends and were surprised by the good taste of the food. We had lam, gofio, pulpo and potatoes. We especially liked the red mojo, the green one was not our favorite. We saw a remarkable wine selection; we took our favorite the Vinatigo baboso, a superb wine.
Finally we tasted the owner's home made liquors, all well made.
We had a nice evening and the food is friendly priced.

This restaurant is a little difficult to find but REALLY is worth the extra effort in locating it .

When you walk past it it has a very small door and small windows and it looks as though the place is deserted. Do not let this fool you , the place is open , just push the door open as the small sign on the door says and go inside.

The reason for the place looking empty will become clear as you go inside. The whole building is an old one and its design has been left much as it was 100 years ago. Sympathetically restored and well decorated with family pictures and ornaments the dinning areas are in the light and airy cellar and loft space which are not visible from the road.

The owner is a very cheerful character who sings along to the Spanish songs on the radio and will serve up a range of some of the best Canarian cuisine I've tasted on the island.

Loads of choice and decent sized portions, just be careful that you do not order extra potatoes, most dishes are served with them already

I would go as far as driving up into the mountains from the coast to visit this place. It really is that good, make the effort

I am so happy that we chose here for our first meal in San Miguel De Abona. Food was delicious, wine was fabulous and the host really was so nice. If you happen to be in this area I strongly recommend eating here.
