This was our second visit to the Wookey hole Inn. This time, we stayed 2 nights and brought friends. We hoped the Inn hadn't changed as we did sell it to our friends as a top place to weekend. No disappointments to be had, Excellent food and beers, first class hospitality from Richard and his family/staff, still as funky and unique as ever.
Rooms have plenty of space, big beds and great showers. About as far removed from a plastic chain hotel chain as you can get.

Thanks to Richard and staff for a brilliant weekend.

Room Tip: Far as I know, all rooms the same.

Visited as a family of four at lunchtime before going to Wookey Hole Caves. The waitress was really friendly and the service was great but to be fair, it was quiet in there so don't know what it would have been like if it was busier. There is a children's menu so there's something for everyone; I had Stilton soup with a bowl of chips and it was delicious. The decor was lovely and my daughter was particularly impressed with the sparkly blue loo seats in the ladies! Overall, a lovely pub that I would highly recommend.

We took our lunch at the Wookey Hole Inn on Bank Holiday Monday while walking in the area with our dog; they were very friendly and accommodating (a big thumbs up right away for being dog friendly) and the sandwiches we ordered were very tasty and well presented. Try a bowl of the jacket chips too - really excellent! We would definitely visit again.

great food, fabulous atmosphere & friendly staff. Huge choice of beers & even Wilkins cider - what more could you want? The mussels are great & my partner had the lamb which was delicious. Thankyou Wookey Hole Inn

Living in France has really highlighted how many traditional pubs in the UK are now no longer child friendly making eating out a bit of a chore unless you visit a chain targeted at families.
When we arrived at the Wookey hole Inn for an evening meal we were so happy to be welcomed as a family and were even more delighted when the childrens menu offered great quality food and vegetables!
We all had a wonderful meal beautifully presented and top quality. The lamb was out of this world in taste.
I recommend eating here when you are next in the area!
