We had several Pints in the beer garden of this inn, it was wonderful to sit outside in the afternoon sun. The staff and locals were nice people and happy to chat. We had dinner booked elsewhere but returned afterwards.
A great place to relax.

This was my second stay here, this time I was with my wife. Not only do you get an extremely friendly welcome from the proprietors, Richard and his wife, but you have a fabulous selection of local real ales and fine wines. The room was spacious, quiet and airy. The evening meal was top notch, the chef here really does produce some beautiful plates of food. We will return and I will continue to recommend it to others.

We visited The Wookey Hole Inn for one night whilst visiting friends in the area. Our welcome was friendly and although the décor in the room was a little tired we were very comfortable. A good shower and plenty of space. We ate in the restaurant and really enjoyed our meals. Fillet steak and a beef stir fry. The Gorge Best ale was excellent and so was the wine. all in al a very good stay. Breakfast was a basic continental but the room rate was very good.

Absolutely GORGEOUS food, ate here twice on our visit to Wookey Hole, definitely worth it!

Beautiful evening meal, had the boar and quails eggs scotch eggs with crispy parma ham for starter, lamb with dauphinois potato, red cabbage and rosemary jus for main, followed by hot date and pecan pudding with toffee sauce and clotted cream for dessert...couldnt fault one single thing, absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend!
