We stayed here overnight whilst completing the NC500 and what a little gem. The place has been purposed built by Kenny and has been completed to a very high standard of finish. We arrived wet and cold after travelling over the Bealach na ba and sustaining a puncture, but on arrival nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are very well equipped and a bonus was a fridge with fresh milk and water provided. The en-suite was very large and toiletries were also provided. The breakfast the following morning was great and would recommend the eggs royale.

Room Tip: Only two rooms let out, so either are very quiet, but front room would have the best views out over...

I booked this B&B almost a year in advance. It was planned as part of our North Coast 500 route.

We received a warm welcome from Lorna, the owner, and we were shown to a beautifully well appointed room. It was immaculately furnished, had an extremely comfortable bed, had a fridge for our water, and the wardrobes were spacious.

Before retiring to our room we took a walk down to Loch Carron. It was far enough to feel like we'd taken a good walk but near enough to feel it wasn't miles away. The loch itself is beautiful and, whilst out, we enjoyed a chat with a lady who was on holiday in a loch side cottage.

The location of the guesthouse is superb, our room looking out over Loch Carron to the south/ south east and the hills beyond. In the evening we sat by the window and watched the light die away - it was so calming.

Breakfast was excellent - The Eggs Royale were of an extremely high standard (you try poaching an egg well and you will know what I mean).

Our experience of the NC500 has decided us on choosing B&Bs on any future visit. They not only represent value for money but invariably operate at a higher standard than the hotels we stayed in. The Sithean is an excellent example of the high standards I am referring to.

Finally, the after stay care also needs mentioning. We managed to leave behind a mobile phone and iPad charging leads, and Lorna and Ken kindly sent them on for us.

We enjoyed every single minute at this place. Very luxury and comfortable rooms and a beautiful house. Lorna is so wonderful with the perfect sense of humour and her self-baked Scones are phantastic. Don't miss her porridge in the morning - as well as the "eggs royale". Hopefully nor our last stay at this place

Couldn't say enough good things about the stay. Perfectly located on Lochcarron, the guest sitting room looks over a beautiful garden and has a great view of the loch. The bedroom we stayed in had a beautiful view as well. The room had two good-sized closets for clothes, and a mini-fridge which the hostess thoughtfully stored with hot chocolate packets and water bottles. The cooked breakfasts were tasty - we stayed a few nights so I was able to try a couple things and all were good. Hostess recommended us some good places to eat out, and if we returned midafternoon, she offered to make tea (which was also good!). Highly recommend this place.
