We were referred here by someone at our resort, and we were not disappointed. I wanted to find a place off the resort that could give us authentic PR food. A cab was called, and he gave me his card, so when we were done, we could call him back for a ride. We found a place to settle in, and I ordered the mufungo, which I was told I must try if I'm on the island. It's made of fried plantains, and had skirt steak in it, and it was amazing. I wish that I could find this near where I live, but that is not the case. It was filling, but the taste was something to write home about. We walked around the rest of the kiosks after we ate, and there are a lot of nick nacks to buy if you're in to that kind of thing.
