Kong Garden is a delightful little resort, with various cabins or chalets -in varying styles around immaculate gardens on a hill-side- serving as accomodation. I stayed in a very comfortable en-suite room of a 2-room chalet, with good air-con and also wi-fi. Only the lack of hand soap was an ommission, but the shower gel sufficed. The staff was very helpful, so I'm sure they would have provided some had I asked. The gardens are pretty and peaceful, allowing for a relaxed environment away from BKK. The dining was in a larger building at the bottom of the hill, with with delicious local cuisine for lunch and a hearty western-style breakfast. The resort seems well-connected to local activities like cycling and ATV trips and offer cycles itself. The trendy and rapidly-expanding Khao Yai area offers many restaurants, activities and even some vinyards, so there is some occasional road-noise at the bottom of the resort near the restaurant. It is very good value in a surprisingly pricey area and I recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
