Booked 4 rooms for two nights. The location is pretty good as it is near 7 eleven and Palio. Rooms are clean but poor sound insulation in between rooms as all of us heard chair and table dragging sound in the middle of the night. No lift is available in the property but helpful staff is willing to carry our luggage up the floor. Very simple breakfast of bread with butter, jam and free flow of 3-1 beverages is served.

Not happy with this resort, it's definitely old by now and in real need of a renovation.
I was there in January and it was cold outside, the hot water in the shower kept breaking down and I called for help but it kept braking down. I finally had to shower in (ice) cold water
Nature is nice, that is all that is good
This is a bit confusing since the hotel on the street is not part of the condos in the back and perhaps the resort behind as well. But if your looking for a last minute, temporary place to lay your head this is OK. I found it clean and comfortable. The pool was alright, the staff were normal for this part of Thailand. Remember that Kao Yai is host to mostly Thai tourists and so you get a Thai level of service meaning low. On the other hand its close to the Italian village, if for some reason you need to go there. More importantly its close to the park entrance and for Kao Yai its pretty cheap.
Very mixed up when stay this legendary of Khao Yai since the first place, I'v stayed on last Friday and stay in Juldis Mansion. We don't know whree to go , there are seperated building due to some part has been sold as far as we know. We have to try to find the reception counter after lost into some where in side! The reception counter located at in front of the new building off the street, we've got the room key from the staff and somebody brought us to the room , the room has absolutely run down , wear and tear, the air-cond't in the sleeping room like the factory on going we can't never sleep to the whole night, the room was shabby and not so clear, all facilites are out of date, surroundings are all bad conditon, we don't know how they can survive in the business!
Many new hotels are coming up with good location , good property and services, no need to stay here anymore.

I've written a substantial and very positive review of this remodeled old resort.
This is a nice place to have a resort, near some mountains and adjacent to a sort of "Italian" village. The Hotel is under profound renovation. Our room was spacious but aged. Some mosquitoes around (it was a first floor by the garden, and the seals at the front door and the window between the bathroom and the room were not hermetic). We had dinner and breakfast, and both were just convenient. Once renovated, it will possibly be an excellent place.
