Lovely area nice beach lots of shops and restaurants, the hotel is great but the only one thing I didn't like was the parking as there is no near parking it's a good 5/10 mins away which is free but not good for disabled.i would certainly recommend this hotel .

We stayed at this hotel on 29th April, we booked it while on the ferry crossing,we got an excellent price £59:00.
The hotel was very good, clean to a high standard, we was made to feel very welcome, the town was quiet, which we assume was because it wasn't really the start of the holiday season.
Overall, a great hotel, would recommend to anyone, it's nice to be pleasantly surprised when you make a booking at the last minute,
Thank you Royal Hotel, Du Panne, Belgium

This is a really lovely small hotel in a great location. We were greeted by Anne on arrival who not only is fluent in several languages, but works extremely hard and always with a smile. She seems to act as receptionist, concierge, manageress, waitress , service manageress, maitre d' h and more.
The rooms are well appointed, with big comfortable beds, flat screen TVs , sitting area and modern bathroom with deep bath and shower. Very acceptable. For those who cannot be without it the wifi is up to speed and efficient.
On previous reviews there have been concerns about parking and in the height of Summer it would be worth paying the €15 for private parking. The hotel is reasonably priced so add it in. However Anne showed me exactly where to park for free and believe me it was no more than a 3 minute walk from the hotel.
We are out in the evening as we were a bit late on arrival, but the set menu looked very acceptable.
Although breakfast is scheduled for an 8am start, as it was prepared and we needed to leave in good time again Anne let us go in early. That extra bit of thought which we really appreciated. The breakfast which was included was excellent. Beautiful fries baguettes, hams and cheeses, eggs, cereals, fresh fruit and juices . It is a very good start to the day.
Our stay was most enjoyable, we would highly recommend it and Anne deserves a medal for hard work to make everyone feel at home and comfortable. Well done!

Room Tip: There is a lift so access to all rooms is easy

The upper exterior of this place could do with a lick of paint as it doesn't reflect on this lovely place to stay. Just a very short walk to the sea front, bars and restaurants all around, that's if you don't stay in the hotel itself to wine and dine, no problems there.
The downstairs is old style, but welcoming and comfortable. The room we stayed in was well equipped, modern and stylish. Even an Ethernet cable supplied just in case you couldn't connect by WIFI, which both of us did, no problem. The management/staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast, not a full English in sight, but the range of food and drink was exceptional. I would stay here again, no worries and definitely give this place the thumbs up.

We stayed one night here on the way to Holland and it has a good combination of charming wood lined dining rooms which feel typically French, with beautifully modern renovated rooms and bathrooms. The new tub and shower all worked well and it was nice and quiet in the rooms.

De Panne is a nice enough seaside town, big sandy beach with enough places to eat, not super posh but fine.
